Part-Time Distribution Center Operator

We are looking for part-time Distribution Center Operator with a desire to excel in a fast-paced high-tech environment, to continue our tradition of producing high-quality hosiery in our finishing department.
Hours of Work: 9am to 1pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Pick and pack orders. Apply proper shipping labels and packing lists to cartons. Seal cartons and move them to the proper location for further processing. Place stock into picking locations. Apply tickets and labels to product prior to shipment. Weigh cartons for shipment. Label the cartons and provide documentation for shipment. Move or send cartons to the proper distribution center location for shipment. Take inventory of products, cases, boxes, etc. as directed. Performs related duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: Communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English. Ability to be flexible and work under pressure in a fast-paced, fluid environment. Ability to interact in a proactive manner with peers and management and work as a team player. Must be capable of standing and walking up to 12 hours per day. Must be capable of frequent shoulder-height reaching and bending and able to lift 25#. Capable of adhering to Standard Work Procedures. Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication). PREFERENCES: Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
