We're hiring a paralegal to assist our legal team in preparing legal documents, filing motions, coordinating law office activity, and conducting legal research. Applicants should be experienced, highly organized professionals with great attention to detail. If this sounds like a job you'll love, apply below.Responsibilities:Locate and communicate with debtors to collect outstanding debtsResearch and analyze debtor financial information to determine the best course of actionDraft and send collection letters, emails, and legal notices following FDCPA guidelinesPrepare and file court documents for lawsuits if necessaryTrack case progress, deadlines, and paymentsMaintain accurate and detailed case filesCollaborate with attorneys to develop collection strategies and resolve disputesMay assist with skip tracing (locating debtors who have moved without leaving a forwarding address)Stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations regarding debt collectionQualifications:Excellent organizational skills, and time-management skillsAssociate's degree or paralegal certificate is preferred, but a high school diploma with relevant experience may suffice2-3 years of experience in collections or a legal environment (experience with debt collection laws a plus)2-3 Years of experience in Rental properties, or a real estate environment is preferred.Understanding of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) regulationsMeticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills in managing multiple case filesProficiency in legal research and case management softwareStrong computer skills with mastery of Google Office (Docs, Sheets, Gmail).Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentEstate Planning experience is a plusAbout Company:Turnkey Real Estate Management is providing full-service property management in Southern Ohio.
