Plumbers Supply Co, a family owned business celebrating 102 years in 2023, has an immediate opportunity for a Order lift/Forklift Driver to work with our Warehouse Team at our Bishop Lane branch in Louisville. As a member of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for warehouse duties as assigned, verifying contents are correct and not damaged, and stocking inventory in the appropriate place.
Schedule is Monday-Friday 1st shift (with possible required overtime)(hrs can be subject to change).
Other Responsibilities Include but are not limited to :
Helping team members maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment that is safe & accessible for salespeople, customer traffic and employees. Maneuvering heavy equipment using hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, etc. Willing to drive company vehicle to customer sites to deliver products as qualified and required Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent At Least 1 year of prior Warehouse Experience Forklift Experience Required (Combilift, Order Picker, Skylift, Stock Chaser and/or Turret Truck) Customer Service Focused Dependable Attendance Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to Multi-Task Attentive to Detail Motivated to Train & Learn Stamina to Stand & Walk for entire shift Computer Proficient Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation. The candidate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to more than 75 lbs with assistance. Regularly push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, squat, bend, twist, grab and reach above the shoulders.
