Join us in shaping the future of commercial construction through innovation, excellence, and unmatched expertise. Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
• Takes a holistic view of the project scope and how sales and estimating will affect the full life cycle of a project.
• Has strong industry knowledge of window, curtain wall, store front and metal panel products and specifications and consistently builds upon that knowledge, incorporating new and developing products and technologies.
• Incorporates depth of knowledge to build and present "good", "better", "best" options in response to detailed bid requests from general contractors.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
• Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
• Works with the Operations team to make sure any solution suggested during the sales process can be implemented in the field.
• Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads. May include cold calling when entering new markets.
• Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests good, better, and best products and services to meet those needs.
• Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
• Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
• Networks with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
• Follows detailed information on each scope and stays involved until all submittals/shops are approved.
• Maintain detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
• Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
• Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.
• Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients' needs.
• Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board. Qualifications and Skills Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field OR At least five years of related experience required.
• Proven track record in window sales.
• Strong interpersonal communication, writing and decision-making skills.
• Ability to research information and analyze data, arrive at valid conclusions Strong knowledge of window industry.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
