Millwork Fabrication Shop Manager

Spaceworx is seeking an experienced Millwork Fabrication Shop Manager to oversee our fabrication operations and lead a team of skilled craftsmen in the manufacturing of modular privacy pods and collaboration booths. As the Millwork Fabrication Shop Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the fabrication process, ensuring quality standards are met, and optimizing production efficiency. Responsibilities Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the millwork fabrication shop Plan and schedule production activities to meet project deadlines and customer requirements Oversee the fabrication process, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards Manage and optimize material usage and inventory levels Provide technical guidance and support to the fabrication team Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects Implement and maintain safety procedures and protocols Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement Train and mentor team members to enhance skill levels and performance Requirements Bachelor's degree in millwork, woodworking, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum of 5 years of experience in millwork fabrication, with at least 2 years in a managerial role Strong knowledge of millwork fabrication techniques, materials, and machinery Experience with CNC machinery and software Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and blueprints Proven leadership and team management skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Benefits Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) Training & Development Wellness Resources Retirement Plan (401k, IRA) Assistance
