I. Job Summary | Major Goals:
We are in search of a dynamic Marketing Director to spearhead our marketing endeavors, focusing primarily on cultivating and converting organic traffic. The ideal candidate will excel in formulating and executing comprehensive content strategies, managing social media channels, public relations, and SEO. This role demands a hands-on approach, blending creativity, analytical prowess, and a profound understanding of digital marketing trends and consumer behavior. Previous experience in SaaS is desirable, while familiarity with the ecommerce industry is essential.
II. Essential Job Functions | Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results:
Marketing Strategy: Develop, implement, and refine comprehensive marketing strategies showcasing our first-party ecommerce data and insights.
Content Strategy: Collaborate with the VP of Marketing to deploy a data-centric content strategy aimed at boosting traffic, generating qualified leads, and fueling MQL lead pipelines for product-led growth (PLG) conversions and sales outreach.
Messaging: Ensure alignment and clarity across all collateral, effectively communicating our value proposition to attract prospects and retain existing clients.
Social Media: Oversee our social media profiles, crafting engaging content and campaigns that reinforce our position and resonate with our target audience. Stay abreast of social trends, analyze performance metrics, and adapt strategies accordingly.
SEO Optimization: Devise and execute SEO strategies to enhance organic traffic, encompassing keyword research, website content optimization, and ongoing performance monitoring.
Platform Management: Proficiency in managing our HubSpot email platform alongside Salesforce CRM to build content sequences, landing pages, and measure performance metrics.
Public Relations: Lead media relations efforts, formulating strategies to bolster the company's public image. Coordinate with PR agencies, oversee press releases, interviews, and media events.
Partnership Development: Identify and establish strategic partnerships within the industry to collaborate on joint marketing initiatives, expanding our market reach.
Leadership: Support the Marketing VP in guiding the marketing team and aligning strategies with cross-functional teams to achieve collective goals.
III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All Must Be Met to Be Considered:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field; Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience/Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
7-10 years of extensive marketing experience.
Hands-on experience with HubSpot and Salesforce for targeted marketing campaigns; familiarity with other email service providers is a plus.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a focus on crafting content for a B2B audience.
Deep understanding of marketing campaigns tailored for eCommerce and B2B audiences.
Proficiency in audience identification and engagement.
Up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging marketing trends, particularly in content and social media spheres related to eCommerce.
Strong project management skills, strategic foresight, and attention to detail.
Comfort and experience working collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders, agencies, and freelance content creators.
Previous experience in the eCommerce or retail sector is essential.
Travel Required (Approximate): 5-10%

Pay Range:
Salary: $93,000 - $130,000 (Actual pay may vary based on factors including work location, experience, and performance).
Note: The pay range provided represents only a component of our total compensation package, which includes additional benefits such as medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage, unlimited paid time off (PTO), adoption or surrogate assistance, donation matching, tuition reimbursement, life insurance, disability insurance, commuter benefits, and a generous 401K savings plan with company match, among others.
