Responsibilities
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts• Identify potential legal risks and provide proactive advice• Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations• Conduct legal research and translate findings into recommendations• Assist in the resolution of disputes• Work with cross-functional group of stakeholders• Assist with ad-hoc or special projects
Requirements
• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school• Active license to practice law in Texas• 4+ years of legal practice with 1 year in logistics, transportation, and warehouse management• Working knowledge of industry-specific regulations and contracts• Experience in different modes of transportation• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet stringent timelines• Excellent client relationship experience and communication skills• Ability to work independently and as a team player• Exceptional attention to detail• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite• Physical demands include talking, hearing, standing, walking, using hands, reaching, and lifting
