Lecturer, nine-month non-tenure-track appointment beginning August 1, 2024.  
Oversee multiple aspects of the University of Tennessee Opera Theatre (UTOT) in collaboration with the UTOT Music Director.  Responsibilities include directing and producing two full-staged operas during the academic year, management of the opera budget, teaching a graduate-level course on acting/stagecraft, participation in/organization of professional, educational, and community outreach events, and participation in other activities as a member of the voice area faculty.

Required: Masters Degree or equivalent in professional experience.  Substantial experience as an opera director is required, including work with Young Artist programs or in an academic setting. Experience managing budgets and overseeing theatrical productions. Commitment to provide students at the undergraduate and graduate levels with a secure technical foundation in dramatic skills through curricular, and workshop classes as well as through production preparation. Demonstrated excellence as a collaborator with colleagues in both the professional and academic setting.
Preferred: Experience in a university/conservatory setting.
