We are a small and nimble company looking for an experienced Leasing Consultant interested in working across multiple smaller communities in the Capital Hill/Congress Park and Glendale neighborhoods.
POSITION Leasing Consultant (40-hours per week, At-will)
Time Period: Full time
COMPENSATION Commensurate with experience including salary, leasing commissions and bonuses 15 Days PTO Employee Benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401K match SUMMARY The Leasing Consultant is responsible for assisting with leasing operations and managing existing resident needs from Urban Phenix's office and the field. In addition to leasing units and maintaining the lead management queue, the leasing consultant will also perform move-in and move-out duties to help the properties run smoothly. This position offers a great opportunity to gain experience beyond the standard Leasing position that will help career advancement. Our standard business hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 am – 6:00 pm. Summer hours may vary to allow leasing by appointment only on weekends.
RESPONSIBILITIES Perform leasing and administrative duties across multiple buildings in the Capital Hill/Congress Park/Glendale by converting leads to tours, providing in-person tours (including evenings and weekends), following up on leads, and signing leases. Support communities with lead management through Knock. Daily monitoring, adjustments, and submitting marketing campaigns, social media feeds, and website/Google analytics. Build and maintain a strong rapport with residents by actively engaging them verbally and in writing. Post resident notices that support community objectives and to help manage delinquency. Support unit turn activities by completing unit turn checklists, submitting purchase orders to accounting for assigned vendor duties, and performing quality control walks prior to the resident moving in. Communicate with residents via email and phone calls in response to work order requests. Contribute to the Community Engagement Program by actively participating in community events. Perform move-in and move-out operating procedures. Comply with Fair Housing regulations and ordinances. Other duties as assigned that support asset preservation, community engagement and safety standards, reporting needs, customer service, and the overall success of the property. Report to Property Manager. SKILLS, ABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS Colorado Real Estate License is not required at the time of hire, but licensing is required for continued employment. Customer service oriented is a must; providing a welcome image for the community and company. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Experience with MS Office. Exposure to various property management software products is a plus, including AppFolio, RealPage, and Knock . Able to work independently, outside of an office environment. Ability to work on multiple projects and tasks at once in an efficient manner. At least two years post high-school education required. Experience or education in sales, marketing, or advertising a plus. Experience in property management a plus. Reliable personal vehicle essential. Subject to Background check
