The Senior Manager, Operations Functional Skills Development will be responsible for the development of functional skills and knowledge related to Operations CoEs across the enterprise. As a key member of the Talent CoE, this leader will be a credible influencer who can leverage data, technology and cutting-edge best practices to provide solutions for the business solutions for colleague skill development.
This position reports to the Director, Functional Learning. It is an individual contributor role and does not have any direct reports. The location of the position is flexible and can be located in any country in the global organization.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement a portfolio of programs that create a clear growth pathway to enhance the capabilities and skills of colleagues in Operations roles. This includes identifying stakeholders and subject matter experts, conducting needs assessments, creating learning objectives, establishing budgets, identifying third-party partners, leveraging existing content, and recommending KPIs for measurement.
Develop and shape a learning culture in the organization through innovative learning that scales the global enterprise.
Measure and assess the impact of development solutions, continuously refining and adapting them to meet evolving needs of the organization.
Role model and demonstrate unwavering commitment to The Otis Absolutes of safety, ethics and quality in all daily work, decisions you make and living a culture of belonging.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field
Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design, content program management, facilitation skills and experience driving talent/learning solutions and building relationships that gain buy-in and commitment for the partnership.
Skilled in completion of learning needs assessment and in the translation of forecasted business capability needs to a strategic learning plan.
Ability to execute on the learning plan, deliver learning interventions & enhance end to end learning impact to maximize ROI.
Passionate about establishing a culture of belonging; a visible champion of this work.
Program Management experience with demonstrated ability to design and deliver programs for a wide audience, ideally demonstrating experience in skill-based development and organizational capability building.
Demonstrated success in metrics-driven environment; experience with data analytics preferred.
Ability to establish credibility and build collaborative partnerships with all levels of management and individuals across a broad range of business groups.
Demonstrated success as change agent and advocate for change.
