The Lab Operations Coordinator works closely with the DMPK group and Lab of our Future team to support successful planning and execution of the lab. The coordinator will be responsible for sample inventory, organizing, and tracking expirations dates. The coordinator must be comfortable working with various specimens including hazardous materials. The ideal candidate will be very proficient with Excel. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains inventory of consumables, samples, CRO shipments Organizes lab freezers, barcode system and registering of inventory Follows sample retention policy Organizes training and team access on tablets, printers, scanners Knowledge and Skills:
Basic project management and organizational skills required Attention to detail Knowledge of lab supplies, consumables, and lab equipment Ability to work independently and to meet deadlines on multiple items Strong Excel skills Education and Experience:
High School Diploma with 5+ years' experience in a lab Associate's degree with 2+ years' experience in a lab Bachelor's Degree with lab experience $28-$33/hr This job posting is for a temporary role with a third-party agency partner on assignment at Vertex Pharmaceuticals ("Vertex").
