Kitchen Porter

Tonic Restaurant in Washington, DC is looking for one kitchen porter to join our team. Must be able to work Tue-Sat 7am-2pm BenefitsResponsibilities Team member will be responsible for receiving all product from vendors. Candidate will check product for quality, freshness, and reconcile purchase orders with received orders. Team member will also be responsible for cleanliness and organization of the coolers and product areas, doing weekly cleaning projects in addition to daily cleaning and sanitation. Team member will assist in communication with chefs and inform chefs if there are products needed to order. Qualifications Must be able to lift 50+lbs English speaking preferred, bilingual is ok with a fluent knowledge of English. MUST be able to work Tuesday-Saturday 7am-2pm.
