Harvest Assistant

Harvest/Post Harvest Assistant - Cannabis Company Pincanna is a vertically integrated cannabis company with headquarters in Farmington Hills, Michigan and a cultivation and production facility in Pinconning, Michigan. Record plant data Record plant weight and flower weights All aspects of harvesting including cleaning/prepping of cure area, cutting plants, defoliating plants, cleaning of the flower room post-harvest. Defoliation/pruning of flowering plants pre-harvest in the greenhouse/indoor rooms All aspects post-harvest such as but not limited to bucking, trimming, fresh frozen, clean trim room/workstation Must ensure proper care/handling of product during all encounters with plants. Cleaning of all tools, tables, bins, or anything else that touches the product must be cleaned before and after use. Daily responsibilities are physically demanding. Must be able to perform all necessary tasks continuously or intermittently up to 8 hours. Must be able to take instruction and apply accurately. Manicuring dry flowers for quality presentation and separate flowers for future processing Must be able to change tasks at a moment's notice, adaptability is key (example - working in other departments)*Any other duties assigned
Qualifications and Physical Demands: Work on your feet for 8-10 hours a day besides breaks and lunch Work in crouched or uncomfortable positions including repetitive motions for extended periods of time Work in the dark with only green lamps for several hours at a time Lift and carry up to 50 lbs Regularly move up to 40 lbs Work time expectation: 80-90% of the time will be physical labor Must be able to work in and around a horticulture environment including molds, spores, pollens, etc. Must be able to work in hot and cold environments from day to day
