As our Grant Writer, you'll dive deep into understanding our organization's history, objectives, and financial needs. Your role will involve researching grant opportunities, crafting compelling proposals, and managing the application process from start to finish. Collaborating closely with our leadership team, you'll ensure that our funding goals are met while promoting our mission, vision, and values.
Key Responsibilities:
Immerse yourself in our organization's mission and objectives.
Conduct thorough research to gather data and statistics to support fundraising efforts.
Craft compelling grant proposals, applications, and letters of interest.
Coordinate with team members to support the application process.
Stay updated on new grant opportunities and requirements.
Collaborate with various department leaders to align content with our mission and objectives.
Assist in executing the department's strategy and refining written materials for clarity and effectiveness.
Maintain positive relationships with funders and stakeholders.
Keep accurate records and submit reports related to funding efforts.
Qualification Requirements:
Strong knowledge of proposal submission and fundraising processes.
Proven track record in grant writing or similar roles.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
Experience in leading teams and managing projects.
Proficiency in research and understanding of funding sources.
Ability to handle confidential matters with integrity.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and grant management software.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in communications, journalism, creative writing, or marketing.
Minimum of two years' experience in grant writing.
Physical Demands:
This role involves sitting for extended periods and extensive computer work.
