Activities Key Responsibilities for the Government Affairs Associate role include: Understanding the direction of US energy policy, climate policy and foreign policy in specific areas/geographies defined by management that affect TotalEnergies' business interest Providing analytical reports/memos on US positions/debates on areas of responsibility and ad hoc issues Developing a presence primarily amongst some Washington DC's industry associations and think tanks in liaison with specific areas under responsibility Assisting the head of office by working on specific tasks or missions assigned Supporting the activities of the TotalEnergies Washington DC office and the Government and Public Affairs team by: Conducting research into assigned topics and assigned areas of responsibility Working on any ad hoc issues as may be assigned Context & Environment
