The Gemology Associate at The RealReal supports the Fine Jewelry and Watch department through advanced gemological testing of colored gemstones with Raman spectroscopy, gemology specific quality control and helping to maintain and organize TRR owned training materials. They are responsible for providing in the moment gem testing and feedback, creating a safe space and building confidence in the team. In their day to day interactions they must echo The RealReal's values and standards. Counseling on content, best practices, and diamond and colored stones specific needs; the role demands inventive problem solving and excellent interpersonal skills.You are a collaborator and passionate person who identifies opportunities and strives for business success. You have basic colored stone knowledge and experience with advanced gem testing equipment and application. This role will report to the Expert Gemologist.
