As a Hotel Front Desk Receptionist, you will be a critical and valuable member of the front office staff. You will perform the following duties while delivering exceptional customer service,
Greet, register, assign rooms and issue room keys to guests Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts Compute bills, collect payments, and make necessary corrections required Listen to guest complaints and strives to finds solutions in a timely manner Answer guest questions and provide accurate information about property and surrounding areas Organize, secure, and maintain all files and records in accordance with document retention Adhere to Westgate's company core values, Integrity, Passion, and Work Ethic Qualifications Prior customer service and hospitality experience is strongly preferred but not required High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Must be able to work holidays and weekends Experience working in customer facing industries such as hotel, resort, medical, banking, airlines, etc. Strong computer skills and comfortable with technology and learning new reservation software Fast learner with a strong attention to detail Excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills Able to read, write and speak English conversationally Ability to multitask and work independently and as part of a team Enjoys working in a fun face paced environment Must be to lift up to 15lbs Must be able to stand for long periods of time Westgate Resorts is a Smoke and Tobacco-Free workplace.
