Operates power plant boiler, turbine, generator, scrubber if coal unit, and auxiliary equipment to produceelectric power. Communicates and coordinates work activities with LCRA's Generation Desk (GenDesk) tomeet generation demand load requirements. This position utilizes in-depth knowledge of best practices andexperience in own discipline to provide and improve services. Takes a new perspective to solve complexproblems. Works independently and receives minimal guidance. Acts as a resource for colleagues withless experience; may direct the work of other staff members.
