Job summary
Food servers in assisted living/healthcare settings at Bishop Gadsden provide positive dining experiences for residents and their guests. Full-time and part-time opportunities available starting at $15.97/hr.

Responsibilities
• Ensure appropriate menus and place settings are on tables• Prepare wait station and complete opening side work• Stock and assemble condiments and other items needed for meal service• Organize and assemble accurate meal room service trays• Understand and adhere to special dietary needs of residents• Serve food and beverages to residents• Maintain cleanliness of dining room and server areas• Complete closing side work as assigned
Requirements
• At least seventeen (17) years of age• Professional appearance and excellent interpersonal skills• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively• Ability to multi-task and deal with multiple customers• Ability to learn and use a computerized POS system• Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, and lift weights up to 50 pounds• High school diploma or equivalent preferred• Prior food service experience preferred• Prior working experience and/or interacting with an elderly population preferred
