Prayers From Maria Summer Finance Internship About Us Prayers From Maria is built out of love and compassion for children who suffer, and those who have died, from deadly brain tumors. Our mission is to provide childhood cancer patients with the support they desperately need, by reversing the tragic lack of funding and fueling the most meaningful cancer research for kids.
Job Summary: We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our growing organization! In this position, you will be expected to learn the ins-and-outs of our daily routine and activities. Traits include reliability; being a hard worker; having high expectations for yourself; and the ability to encourage staff, volunteers, and the community.
Job Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with reconciling cash transactions. Assist with accounting for fundraisers. Compile data for donors. Assist with audit of financial statements. Analyze donor data to help improve outreach. Assist with providing donor tax receipts. Perform clerical duties, maintain files, and organize documents, etc. as needed. Run general office related errands. Manage databases and input information, data, and records. Office organization.  The ability to lift heavy objects. Season-specific projects. Qualifications :
Pursuing a bachelor's degree at a college or university preferably in a related field (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Business Administration). Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills, and accuracy required. Proficient computer skills. Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas. Reliable form of transportation.
