Family Office Manager Location Santa Fe, NM : Description: The Family Office Manager will manage financial, legal, insurance, tax, household, philanthropic and other issues for the Thornburg Family and related entities. Duties & Responsibilities: Manage Family Office Executive Assistant/Bookkeeper; Assist and supervise preparation of financial statements, investment analysis reports, bank reconciliations, cash flow analysis reports and other financial reports. Coordinate family member meetings, travel, and other family affairs. Ensure all individual, trust, non-profit, and other entity financial transactions and accounting duties are completed on a timely and accurate basis. Manage third party relationships to facilitate tax preparation and planning, including estimate tax calculations and payments. Manage third party relationships to facilitate investment, philanthropic and estate planning services Manage payment of private investment capital calls and preparation of subscription documents for new private investments Supervise management and accounting of domestic and foreign real properties. Prior experience working in a CPA firm or family office - required . 7-10 years of directly related experience; Prior office management and accounting experience. Knowledge of investment portfolios and analysis. Fluency with accounting software, Microsoft 365 and other programs. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Excellent time management skills. Ability to work well under tight deadlines and respond to rapidly changing demand. Must possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and anticipate needs. Must be flexible, able to work efficiently, independently, and proactively. Able to perform detailed independent analysis and articulate results.
