Are you ready to estimate your way to success? gpac, a 30 year recruitment company, is partnered with a well-established company in the Mechanical Construction industry that is looking for their next Estimator superstar!
This is an amazing opportunity for candidates who are passionate about mechanical systems, construction methods, and are ready to travel extensively to job sites across the country. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting construction drawings, performing detailed take-offs, and accurately calculating costs for HVAC, piping, and plumbing projects.
Responsibilities: - Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Perform detailed take-offs and cost calculations accurately
- Travel extensively to job sites across the country
- Prioritize tasks and meet timelines
- Collaborate with team members and project managers
Essential job functions: - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or 5 years of relevant working experience
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the mechanical contracting industry
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, construction methods, and industry best practices
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
Skills: - Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings
- Ability to perform detailed take-offs and cost calculations accurately
