Our Opportunity:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director, Internal Communications to lead our integrated internal communications strategy. Reporting to the Senior Director, Corporate Communications, this new role will be pivotal in ensuring our rapidly growing global team is consistently well informed as well as inspired. This hybrid role based in our Boston, MA headquarters, will play an important part in ensuring a positive workplace experience for all Snykers worldwide.You'll Spend Your Time:Developing and implementing comprehensive internal communication strategies to enhance employee engagement and understanding of key corporate goals and initiatives.Collaborating directly with Snyk's Leadership Team, including Finance, Legal, and Security team leads, to effectively communicate all company policies, changes, and updates.Overseeing the creation of all internal communication materials, including internal newsletters, emails, Slack updates, and intranet updates.Leading crisis communication strategies as needed.Measuring the effectiveness of internal communications and quickly adjusting metrics and strategies accordingly.Managing and mentoring additional internal communications team members.Partnering closely with the external communications team to successfully distribute all company news and significant PR updates.Fostering a culture of transparency within the organization.Coordinating with all company departments to ensure overall brand consistency and cohesive messaging.Further preparing the organization for public market communications standards.What You'll Need:Bachelor's degree (concentration in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field preferred).Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in internal communications or a closely related field within a corporate environment.Proven experience in a leadership role, ideally within a global tech or public company.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Experience in change management and crisis communications.Familiarity with public market communication requirements.Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.We'd be Lucky if You:Have experience at a global cybersecurity company.Are hands-on, curious, and love to learn new things.
