Director, Indirect Procurement

As a key member of our Strategic Sourcing Center, you'll play a pivotal role in executing strategies for large-scale development and procurement projects, particularly in the IT domain. Here's what you'll be doing:
Spearhead cost-saving and strategic sourcing initiatives while ensuring seamless business operations and maintaining high supplier performance.
Lead supplier market research, RFI/RFP activities, and negotiations to secure the best deals and drive value.
Drive annual productivity improvements across spend categories by identifying optimization opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement policies and procedures that drive savings and foster organizational change.
Utilize our Center of Excellence (COE) resources to assess market conditions, leverage spend opportunities, and streamline sourcing processes.
Foster strong relationships with suppliers and manage them effectively to ensure continuous improvement and value delivery.
Drive procurement cost savings, mitigate risks, and facilitate supplier-driven innovation initiatives.
Monitor and evaluate savings targets, analyze PPV (product price variance), and ensure alignment with procurement transformation goals.
Support negotiations and ensure compliance with client policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in indirect procurement, vendor management, and strategic sourcing, with a focus on Information Technology.
Expertise: Deep knowledge of IT categories such as IT Services, Software, Telecom, Mobile, and Hardware. Experience managing category spend over $45MM annually is preferred.
Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office applications is required.
Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills are essential.
Additional Requirements:
Occasional travel may be required.
