Job Description:
AutoZone is seeking a dynamic and adaptable Communications Specialist to join our team. This is a part-time, work from home position based in Los Angeles, California, US. As an Associate Level professional with at least 3 years of experience in communications, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance our corporate communications and brand reputation.
Responsibilities:- Develop and manage communications strategies to promote AutoZone's brand and products.- Create engaging content for various platforms including newsletters, social media, website, and press releases.- Build relationships with media outlets, influencers, and stakeholders to maximize exposure.- Monitor and analyze social media and PR metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice.- Manage crisis communications and handle media inquiries in a timely and professional manner.- Support internal communications initiatives to keep employees informed and engaged.- Provide communication support for special projects and events as needed.- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in communications.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.- 3+ years of experience in corporate communications or public relations.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Strong time management and organizational skills.- Ability to negotiate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.- Adaptable and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.- Driven and results-oriented with a passion for storytelling and brand building.
