Plans, coordinates, and implements nutrition therapy services for assigned patient populations as a competent-level dietitian.

Responsibilities
• Assesses patient's nutritional status and needs, deriving nutrition diagnosis from assessment data.• Develops interventions and plan of care on best available evidence and best practices.• Assesses patient understanding and compliance with nutrition interventions and plan of care.• Monitors patient progress; measures and evaluates patient outcomes.• Participates in and coordinates departmental initiatives relative to patient care.• May conduct education programs for patients, physicians, nurses, and other health care team members/departments, and/or the public.• Functions as a preceptor in support of the academic enterprise.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Human Nutrition or related field.• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.• Relevant life support certification as determined at position level.• 1 year of experience in Clinical Nutrition.
