Job Summary:
We have partnered with a prominent health organization in search of a proactive and proficient Bilingual Accountant. If you are someone with prior experience in accounting reconciliations and managing substantial volumes of data using spreadsheets, this opportunity could be your next career move! Responsibilities:
- Compile data from various internal and external sources to create insightful reports for utilization by other departments and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve purchase order and payment discrepancies, ensuring smooth transactions.
- Conduct reconciliations and meticulously review transactions for accuracy, maintaining precise financial records.
- Manage recordkeeping tasks and process outstanding checks efficiently.
- Support teams by conducting thorough variance analysis, audits, and preparing comprehensive reports.
- Facilitate audit activities by furnishing the necessary documentation and materials to external auditors.
- Provide ad-hoc reports and analysis support to fellow team members upon request.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Ability to work onsite in DC at least 2 days a week.
- Proficiency in Spanish is required.
- Demonstrated professionalism with a proven commitment to collaborative teamwork.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey recommendations effectively.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles and industry policies.
- Detail-oriented and process-driven with exceptional multitasking abilities.


Note: This position offers a hybrid remote work setup.
