Primary Responsibilities:
Lead the charge in developing and implementing cutting-edge supply chain strategies, particularly in the realm of machining commodities.
Embark on a journey to discover and collaborate with suppliers who embody excellence in capability, quality, reliability, and competitive pricing.
Unleash your negotiation prowess to secure contracts that align with our goals and values, all while exploring new avenues for sourcing.
Forge strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, diving deep into their needs to craft sourcing strategies that drive success.
Dive into supplier operations, uncovering insights that guide us toward the optimal balance of cost-effectiveness, quality, and timeliness.
Develop strategic plans that pave the way for our continued growth and success, especially in our dealings with key accounts across various commodities.
Champion the sourcing process from start to finish, ensuring that every step is executed flawlessly and to the benefit of all parties involved.
Maintain a keen eye on supplier performance, holding them accountable to our rigorous standards of delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Basic Qualifications:
A passion for innovation and excellence, coupled with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in the field, showcasing your deep expertise in strategic sourcing.
Prior leadership experience is a must, with at least 5 years of proven success in guiding and inspiring teams to greatness.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in the aerospace industry would be a stellar bonus!
Certification from esteemed organizations such as ISM or APICS would set you apart from the pack.
