Role Description
This is a full-time, outside sales role based in Bowie, MD. As an Architectural Lighting Specification Sales Rep, your day-to-day tasks will include identifying and creating relationships with new clients, managing and expanding current accounts, evaluating and specifying appropriate lighting solutions, and consulting with clients. You will also be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support. You must be willing and able to travel on occasion.

Qualifications
Motivated self starter with good people skills
Expertise in Architecture or Interior Design or related field
Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze project requirements and assist in developing customized solutions
Some understanding of lighting controls, electrical systems and energy-efficient lighting technologies
An interest in sustainable design and the latest industry trends
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field is a plus but not a must
Experience in lighting design or architectural sales is a plus
A strong track record of cultivating and maintaining business relationships is a plus
