This is a full-time on-site role for an Architectural Designer located in Troy, MI. The Architectural Designer will be involved through all phases of the project and be responsible for field measuring, as built documentation, proposing design concepts, and creating construction drawings and submission to building department municipalities for permitting. The designer will also collaborate and coordinate with internal divisions including interior/furniture designers, audio visual systems engineers, construction estimator, and project management teams. Qualifications
Some experience in architectural related work (3-5 years) Ability to pick up redlines and integrate into construction documents Ability to take a concept and create working construction drawings and details Strong understanding of building codes and regulations Proficiency in design software and tools including: Revit, Lumion, SketchUp, Autocad, Matterport, CET Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external clients. Ability to work with multidisciplinary team, including designers. project managers, field superintendent, and estimator. Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field Experience in commercial interiors or workplace design is a plus Strong visual communication skills required
