Job summary
AP and Payroll Accountant position at New Horizons Village in Unionville, CTResponsible for Accounts Payable, Payroll, and providing accounting supportFull-time position with generous benefits package
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Manage, analyze, reconcile, and report on Accounts Payable• Supervise and maintain payroll, including deductions and benefit enrollments• Produce and analyze spreadsheets, payroll and benefits reports• Responsible for 401(k) reporting and filings• Assist with year-end close and audit functions• Prepare and manage tax and wage related reports• Produce payroll related reports quarterly and annually• Manage operational components of NHV insurance• Maintain and analyze patient days spreadsheet• Maintain bank relationships and vendor payments
Requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Experience with payroll or MIP (a plus)• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail• Ability to work independently• AS or BS in a business field from accredited college or university• Minimum of 3 years professional level experience in payroll and accounts payable
