Please visit to view our Statement of Faith and  Doctrinal Distinctives .  Alumni Services Coordinator Alliance Defending Freedom is looking for a highly professional Alumni Services Coordinator to join us in our Scottsdale, AZ or Lansdowne, VA office. As the Alumni Services Coordinator, you are a vital part of the Team. In this role, you will report to the Sr. Counsel, Director of Blackstone Alumni Relations. This position coordinates alumni affinity-building and engagement efforts for alumni of the Blackstone Legal Fellowship training program for Christian law students, aimed at strengthening their bonds of community with ADF and each other as they pursue God's best for their lives and legal careers.
Your Essential Responsibilities: In this position, you will:
Coordinate details related to affinity-building with and between alumni of ADF's Blackstone Legal Fellowship, including but not limited to: o Coordinate logistics, details, and communications regarding the planning, preparation for, and execution of various regional alumni events and reunions organized by ADF for Blackstone alumni
o Maintain event calendar and alert Blackstone Team of ADF events, events by allied organizations (e.g., Federalist Society), events hosted by Blackstone alumni, or events with ADF speakers; follow protocols and input appropriate required forms
Facilitate efforts by alumni leaders in cities around the U.S., to convene community-building events and opportunities in their geographic locales: o Communicate regularly with the Alumni Leaders and coordinate meetings to help onboard them and maintain relationships with them (e.g., Yearly Kickoff, Quarterly Business Meetings)
o Provide ideas for events and support in planning the events as needed
o Maintain city lists and distribute as needed
o Provide reimbursements to Fellows for expenses
o Help report on activities hosted
o Provide personal encouragement to the Alumni Leaders, including sending gifts as appreciation for their efforts
o Help coordinate who serves as Alumni Leader for the following year; create a Alumni Leader bio book
o Introduce Alumni Leaders to Fellows in respective City Chapter
Ensure content is regularly updated in the online community site for Blackstone alumni, called ADF Communities, and facilitate communications with and between Blackstone alumni through the community site: o Manage the Alumni Leaders group in ADF Communities
o Coordinate the creation of digital content for the community site (e.g., Phase IV Conversations)
o Ensure that Alumni Leader events, ADF events, or events from allied organizations are listed and manage RSVPs for events where applicable with the appropriate event settings
o Regularly post in ADF Communities to encourage Fellow engagement
o Communicate ideas for innovation for the platform
Engage in outreach to and relationship-building with individual Blackstone alumni members to keep bonds of affinity strong, provide alumni services, and keep information updated Engage Blackstone alumni with community-building communications, invitations, and efforts regarding the promotion of program-related opportunities Facilitate communications, in-person and online events, and other initiatives aimed at helping Blackstone alumni connect and build relationships around various shared professional, personal, and spiritual interests Support in data collection, entry, reporting, and evaluation using the database system that pertains to Blackstone alumni o Coordinate and execute regular touchpoints with Fellows as they change jobs and update data accordingly
Handle responsibilities as assigned to support the accomplishment of alumni fellowship and outreach efforts Coordinate strategic engagement by Blackstone alumni in various ADF missional advocacy-related efforts, events, and initiatives, and handle related communications and logistics Coordinate and handle aspects of the preparation for and execution of the Blackstone Legal Fellowship training program (including Intern Onboarding, etc.), as well as broader alliance-building, training, and engagement efforts Handle limited administrative duties for members of the Blackstone Alumni Services Team Other Responsibilities (Non-Essential): You will be asked to perform related duties or special projects as assigned.
Skills You Need to Succeed: Demonstrated proficiency in:
Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proven project coordination skills to prioritize and achieve deadlines and meet goals efficiently and productively Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Adeptness with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and ability to learn and become proficient with other similar software applications and systems Networking and relationship-building Ability to:
