Job summary
Vitalant is one of the nation's largest nonprofit blood and biotherapies healthcare organizations, providing hospitals and patients across the U.S. a safe blood supply, specialized laboratory services, transfusion medicine expertise and world-renowned research.We have a network of 115 donation centers across the U.S. and host approximately 60,000 blood drives annually.Vitalant provides blood and special services to patients in more than 900 hospitals across the U.S. where millions of people depend on blood donations from our generous donors.
Responsibilities
• Provides advanced support (e.g., preparing reports, presentations & spreadsheets, troubleshooting various issues, collaborating amongst corporate office teams).• Conducts research, prepares metrics, and supports department projects.• Provides support to the VP, Corporate Controller and accounting leadership team with a variety of projects and/or data entry.• Coordinates business licenses, sales tax exemptions, and charitable registration filings for Vitalant and its Foundation.• Performs data entry and retrieval of information through the use of various software applications.• Assists with special projects, as needed.
Requirements
• High school graduate or GED required.• Bachelor's degree in business, non-profit management, liberal arts, or related field preferred.• Thorough working knowledge of standard office procedures and equipment required.• Two years professional related experience required.
