Role Overview: As a Senior Water Resources Engineer, you will take a pivotal role in designing and managing complex water utility and wastewater projects. This position offers the opportunity to lead impactful projects that enhance community infrastructure and environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities: Design and Management: Spearhead the design, planning, and management of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet all technical and regulatory benchmarks. Project Leadership: Oversee the complete lifecycle of projects, from conception through construction, focusing on innovation, efficiency, and compliance. Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions that are both operationally efficient and sustainable. Technical Proficiency: Utilize advanced engineering tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D for innovative design and project execution. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required; Master's degree is preferred. Certification: Must hold or be on a clear path to obtaining Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer In Training (EIT) certification in Kentucky. Experience: At least 5 years of experience in water resources engineering within a consultancy environment. Skills: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, project management, and the Microsoft Office suite. Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential for effective project documentation and client interactions.
