If you're looking for a job at a fast-growing company that really values its employees, reach out to us today!Responsibilities:• Establish and implement preventative maintenance protocols to keep equipment operations smooth and eliminate safety risks• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and electrical wiring to ensure optimal performance and make any repairs • Keep a record of completed repairs and when equipment was last serviced • Examine building windows, walls, and doors for damage and perform repairs when needed • Take additional maintenance requests as assigned• Project a caring attitude towards customers and colleagues through all communication channels.• Supervise subcontractors performing warranty work.• Efficiently coordinate the scheduling of all customer service work after diagnosing necessary actions.• Tactfully handle and negotiate challenging service requests.• Regularly assess and contribute to revisions of the current warranty program to enhance company image.• Assist in the coordination of warranty claims and repairs with suppliers and contractors. You will be measured on:• Timeliness of warranty reports required by management.• Average work orders per home under warranty.• Average length of time open work orders have been open.• Warranty budget adherence.• Timeliness of any assigned employee growth reviews.Qualifications:• Has high school diploma, GED, or equivalent• Applicants should have knowledge of air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems• Needs to have availability to respond on nights and weekends to on-call maintenance requests• Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail• Strong understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures• Must have a valid Driver's License.• Combination of at least 2 years of customer service experience and 1 year maintenance/construction experience.• Background in the construction industry.• Proficiency using technology in the field.• Ability to perform and train others on service issues, including common problem diagnosis and basic construction repair techniques.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for communicating with internal and external parties in a manner that is both articulate and professional.• Ability to provide timely and empathetic help through in-person, phone, and email to ensure the customer's needs are at the forefront of every interaction.• High School Diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree preferred.About Company: The RP Homes Mission: Creating communities that set the standard for happy living.Our Vision Statement: We believe that designing a neighborhood and homes for people is a big responsibility.
