Kelly, in partnership with a growing company located in Neenah, WI is looking for a highly motivated individual who is interested in learning supply chain distribution. This entry-level position will provide the opportunity to learn distribution, shipping/receiving, warehousing, inventory, vendor managed inventory sales, and customer service.
This is a direct hire warehouse associate position. Pay: $19-$21/hour based upon level of experience
Shift: 1st shift, 8:00am-4:30pm, M-F (no weekends) This individual will be responsible for verifying and recording incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing items for shipment and making on-time deliveries by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards. Primary Duties: Receive and inspect materials; ensures part numbers and quantities accuracy; in good condition and has no missing components. Communicate with vendors to solve part number issues and ensure parts' accuracy. Submit packing slips and picking tickets daily for processing Load and safely operate trucks, pallet jacks, forklift, or dolly Pick and properly pack transfers and truck shipments Pad, stack, and secure items in position on truck to prevent damage during shipments Drive company trucks making prompt on-schedule deliveries and pick-ups while notifying management/team leads of any delays in the delivery schedule Contact vendors to request and obtain Return Authorization for materials to be returned or be repaired. Coordinate with freight companies to obtain BOL to transport LTL shipments as needed Manage and perform inventory process and cycle counts as requested. Keep warehouse clean by sweeping, dusting, and moping to create a safe work environment. Maintain vehicle properly and furnish vehicle operation report; report and record damage to vehicles, product, and/or equipment. Receive direction from Supply Chain Coordinator on tasks that need to be accomplished. Any additional duties as requested. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent 1-2 years in warehousing, receiving, and inventory control Driver's license and a clean driving record Technical capacity Oral and written communication Problem solving Dependability Attention to detail Adaptability/flexibility Cooperation Organization, planning, and prioritizing Computer experience Background and drug screening required prior to placement.
