The position UVA Bagger Operator is trained to be proficient in every aspect of properly operating the UVA Bagger.
The Key responsibilities will include:
Perform routine adjustments and changeovers. Capable of understanding and following HACCP requirements. Verify product quality before fillings bags, checking for correct product, product size, product shape, and the absence of cross contamination, fines, or foreign material. Adjust printer as required. Perform the following routine quality duties: bag weight accuracy, bag seal quality, metal detection, production code accuracy and legibility, product sampling and identification. Record shift production and bag waste. Maintain Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in accordance with company policy. Qualifications Must be computer literate. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. of product routinely and climbing a ladder to maintenance equipment from catwalk. Must be able to perform moderate to heavy labor under constant machine operation and other noise throughout the shift when required.
