Acadian Companies has an immediate opening for a Trainer to join the Acadian Client Services team in Lafayette, LA. The Trainer is responsible for the delivery of training programs in order to promote an environment of continual learning and development of all new hires/employees within ACS, and to assist with the development of a continuing education program. Essential Functions:  Creates material for new training programs; reviews, evaluates, and modifies existing and proposed programs; recommends appropriate training materials Actively seek current training methods and best practices to facilitate training employees Meet with department leaders and other department trainers to proactively identify topics to be addressed or areas in need of additional instruction Researches, plans, organizes, and conducts training programs, seminars, and refresher sessions  Assist in planning, creating, and implementing training courses and materials Gather and evaluate information from employees and management on previous training to identify weaknesses and areas that need additional training Develop in-house training material that can be utilized as needed by staff Determine whether or not the employees and/or processes are functioning adequately, efficiently, and effectively  Document review findings for management review Recommend any changes, process refinements, and/or education (training) needs Other responsibilities, as assigned Qualifications Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred, 2+ years training experience required in lieu of degree. Relevant healthcare or revenue cycle experience preferred.  Previous Medicare/Medicaid medical billing experience preferred  Self-starter who has the ability to take this role and operate independently Time management and strong organizational skills are essential Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient using Microsoft or Google products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Ability to adhere to productivity goals, departmental and company guidelines, and policies and procedures Maintain highest level of confidentiality Benefits 401(k) ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Program) Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Short Term and Long-Term Disability Life Insurance Pet Insurance And More!
