Tort Claims Investigator 1 Olympia, WA – Headquarters $52,620 – $70,800 Annually Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking to fill a Tort Claim Investigator vacancy located in Olympia, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for the investigation, analysis, and resolution of tort claims filed with the Office of Risk Management within the Department of Enterprise Services and that are assigned to WSDOT. The Tort Claim Investigator will conduct complete and comprehensive investigations into circumstances of incidents giving rise to tort claims or lawsuits. When appropriate, the incumbent in this role will recognize the need for and perform the necessary work to tender claims to construction contractors and provide follow-up communication/coordination with the contractor and claimant. Due to the work performed, our top candidate must possess exceptional communication and organizational skills.
