This position is 40 hours per week including Saturdays Spanish Speaking Preferred BASIC FUNCTION: Represents the Credit Union in a courteous and professional manner; providing prompt, efficient and accurate service in processing member transactions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Utilizing Universal Financial Workstation, processes various member transactions including, but not limited to:
Cash withdrawals cash deposits loan payments loan transfers share to share transfers draft deposits visa payments selling Money Orders Obtains adequate member identification. Ensures receipt of accurate and complete vouchers. Documents money received and disbursed. Communicates directly with members: advises prospective members of the advantages of Credit Union membership sells and cross-sells on the advantages of Credit Union new and existing services responds to questions and problems relative to member accounts and/or referring members to appropriate Department for handling Responsible for daily balancing of all monies: conducts trial balance performs end-of-day balancing orders or returns money to vault to maintain authorized starting cash fund Responsible for opening and closing of Universal Financial Workstation and maintaining proper security measures throughout the day. Performs related duties and special requests as assigned. May include, but not be limited to: covering drive-thru window. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three years related experience and/or training.
