Tax Manager / Cpa

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CPA to join our client's team in Tulsa, OK. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company's tax compliance, planning, and strategy. This role requires a deep understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws, as well as excellent analytical and leadership skills.
Assistance needed with the existing client base. Due to current capacity, applicants seeking to bring on their own client base would not be a good fit for this role.
Required Skills & Experience:
Must be a CPA 80 years' experience Experience must be in income tax preparation Must have an excellent understanding of accounting (many of our business clients rely on us to either do the accounting for them or "correct" their accounting as part of the tax return preparation process) Proficiency in payroll tax reporting is a plus Responsibilities:
Manage a client base (book of business) Work directly with clients Supervise/train staff Prepare bi-monthly invoices Assist partners with high level administrative tasks as needed (internal payroll review; insurance renewal, staff evaluations, etc.)
General Requirements
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite. High proficiency in Excel. Experience with the following is a plus: CS Workpapers, Lacerte Tax Software, Personal Property Pro, Quickbooks (Desktop and Online), Sage Accounting Software. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals. Strong sense of integrity and adherence to professional standards and ethical guidelines. Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000
Schedule: M-F, 8-5 in office. During tax season, hours are typically capped at 55-60 hours per week.
