Harrison County Hospital is seeking to hire an Environmental Services Tech in the Surgery Department.
Status: Full-time, Days, 40 hrs/wk
The Surgery Environmental Services Technician works with the surgical department team, adheres to principles of asepsis and environmental controls in the OR setting, collaborates and works bi-directionally with the OR, Materials Management staff and leadership. Is sensitive to patient privacy and confidentiality.
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Surgical room setting: 1 year preferred. Skills: Maintains an aseptic presence, understands the semi-restricted and restricted core and adheres to proper attire, masks, hair covering, etc. while in these spaces. Maintains surgical suite in an orderly, clean, and dust free through constant rounding and cleaning. Use proper and approved cleaning solutions on equipment.
