Job Description Vela is a data reporting and collection system that is growing quickly across the nation, with great heart and impact. We are looking for someone to join our team who is passionate about the movement to end violence, has previous experience in direct advocacy work, providing training and in using a database for grant reporting. As part of our team, you will work to support organizations as they transition to Vela, building capacity, resilience, and encouraging space for change. You will also work to provide ongoing training and technical assistance to advocates as they identify their needs. In this role there is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of our software platform by working closely with the development team on new features that have positive impact for the field. Preferred Experience Direct service advocacy Specialization in grant reporting Providing training to large groups Responsibilities: Safeguard survivor confidentiality and work to protect their data with utmost care Provide support, technical assistance and training to Vela users Work with clients to configure and deploy Vela to meet their reporting needs Develop information and training materials that are clear and easy to understand Collaborate with the Vela support and development teams to prioritize and design new features Provide input in marketing and communication related to the product Work in a fast-paced remote team environment Create capacity for organizations in following advocacy best practices with a survivor-centered approach Be a proactive motivator and willing to learn the proper use of workflow/project management tools Actively practice ethical communication and willingness to support advocates through challenges Pay close attention to detail, deadlines, and federal regulations and guidelines Interact with people at all levels of the organization (internal as well as externally with clients), fostering strong, cross-functional teamwork and results Compensation $55,000-65,000 + benefits, commensurate with experience
