Providence is calling a Supply Chain Technician who will: Be responsible for working with customers within their specific ministry ensuring an effective and streamlined supply chain experience at the local ministry/site for all caregivers they serve
Support daily supply chain operations and logistics functions at acute care ministries, medical group clinics, long term care facilities and warehouse operations for their respective ministry
Required to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift over 25+ pounds
This posting is for multiple openings of a Supply Chain Technician. This role is an in-hospital position and will report into the hospital daily as scheduled. This role requires flexibility to work the following shifts: 6:00 am - 2:30pm, 2:00pm-10:30pm,10:00pm - 6:30am. Work schedules will include both week days and weekend days. Providence welcomes residents to apply that live within a commutable distance of our hospital location listed below: Oregon: Portland Required qualifications for this position include: Combination of education and directly applicable related work experience
Relevant experience in a warehouse or storeroom environment recommended, preferably one in which an electronic inventory management system was used
Within 30 days of hire: HealthStream Customer Service Certification
