In addition to regular duties as Facility Services and/or Scientific Instrument Services team member, supervise after-hours duty technicians. Ensure appropriate, timely responses to after-hours and/or emergency building events. Assess needs and recommend strategies to ensure effective, efficient, safe operations. Maintain professional, symbiotic relations with internal and external partners like Security, OUHSC Police Department, Environmental Health, Safety & Institutional Compliance, Research Programs, and more. Coach, train, and act as main point of contact for after-hours duty technicians. Make recommendations for staff growth and development. Oversee, plan and coordinate communication of schedules, shift variations/coverage needs, procedure/policy changes, organizational news, and other relevant information. Ensure proper after-hours coverage including but not limited to covering shifts yourself as needed. Conduct reviews, monitor and manage leave requests and ensure accuracy of timecards. Prioritize team members' safety and cohesiveness. Supervisor will need to work hours that allow for face time once a week with each duty technician.
Due to the nature of this position, detailed building and institutional knowledge is required, only internal applicants from Facility Services and/or Scientific Instrument Services will be considered.
High school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience and at least one year of OMRF experience.
Must have ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a highly diverse group of people, personalities, and cultures. Must demonstrate ability and dedication to maintaining a safe work environment and follow safety rules and federal regulations. Must have basic knowledge of computers. Must have ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult situations, respond quickly to situations or problems and promptly inform appropriate personnel. Must be consistent, reliable, communicative, and dependable. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential.

This position requires "on-call" responsiblity 52 weeks per year.
