Job No: 537110; 4/9/2024SUMMER TRANSITIONAL PROGRAMS FACILITATORCasual WorkerEOP- Summer Bridge Salary Range: $16.00 - $140.00/Hourly (Budgeted Hiring Salary Range: $20/Hourly)Work Schedule: Hours to be arranged; temporary appointment ends on/or before August 16, 2024; non-exempt classification.Essential Functions: Facilitator to EOP's Summer/Transfer Bridge, Summer Residential Program, Summer Workshop and Community Learning students may include teaching the following courses: Writing, Reading, Summer Bridge (SB) Seminar, Math, Kinesiology, Library Science, Communication Studies, History, Pan-African Studies (PAS), and/or Chicana(o) and Latina(o) Studies (CLS) to Bridge students.Required Qualifications & Experience:Strong background in the field they will be teaching; demonstrate clear and verbal communication skills. As a Facilitator to EOP's Summer/Transfer Bridge, Summer Residential Program, Summer Workshop and Community Learning courses for EOP students; may include teaching the following courses: Writing, Reading, SB seminar, Math, Kinesiology, Library Science, PAS, CLS, and/or Communication Studies to EOP students. The incumbent must have a demonstrated interest and/or ability to work in a multicultural/multiethnic environment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the California State University.
