The Sr Manager, Manufacturing Planning role is located in Middletown, VirginiaLeads the Production Planning/Scheduling team to assure compliance to our Customers' requirementsWork closely with Director of Manufacturing and Value Stream Managers to drive optimization of scheduling and production

Responsibilities
• Develop and distribute a master production schedule• Drive optimization of scheduling and production• Support business analysis on economic order sizes and order grouping• Prepare and coordinate the issuing of weekly production schedules• Determine priorities and initiate action where changes in forecast and/or resources dictate re-evaluation of existing schedules• Monitor and coordinate activities of other departments• Serve on element teams for new product introduction• Lead and direct the team's Continuous Improvement (PPI) projects• Review and develop new techniques in the planning area• Work with senior management staff to ensure implementation of company goals or other special assignments
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a science or equivalent experience in business or production management environment• Experience in Manufacturing Planning and SAP• At least 10 years of experience in a production environment• Leadership skills• In-depth working knowledge of SAP systems, planning systems, production control, and customer service/order processing• Knowledge of ISO/FDA and other regulatory requirements• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills• Highly responsive to internal and external customers• Good planning and organizational skills• Proven ability to implement improvements/cost savings
