This role will work with all creative departments to identify and collect historical project costs and program attributes, refine and draw conclusions from the data, and assist in building complex PowerBI dashboards. The Sr. Analyst, Project Controls will drive insight and process improvements that will be presented to senior leadership based upon their data collection efforts.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and execute data collection studies and obtain data using database query tools to perform data mining and data analysis using statistical tools and methodologies.Assist in developing historical & project comparable dashboards and analytics using presentation techniques.Create project staffing and cost models to forecast staffing requirements and future project costs.Utilizing project costs, develops project metrics, reports, and summaries to be presented and utilized by leadership.Assist in development of business cases & presentations to be presented from front line stakeholders to executive leadership.Identify and assist in developing process improvements for established processes and procedures.Assembles standard operating procedures consistent with established templates related to financial reporting.Maintains department historical archives and reporting templates.Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.Performs other duties as assigned.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree in: Finance, Business Analytics, Construction Management, or Industrial engineering.EXPERIENCE:4+ years' experience.
