Position Details:
Position Type: Full-time, 1.0 FTE
Scheduled Hours/days: 8 hours/day, Monday-Friday
Qualifications Required:
Minnesota Department of Teaching license in Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD)
Academic Behavior Specialist licensure considered; multiple licenses preferred
Benefits:
Competitive salary range of $55,441-$91,619 (DOQ)
Work from home option on teacher work days (7 days in ******** )
187 Duty days with ten annual leave days (Up to 5 personal days per year, total accumulation to 200 days)
Up to 8 weeks of district-paid maternity leave (individual does not use personal accumulated leave)
Responsibilities:
Develop and provide specialized instruction to meet academic, functional, and social/emotional/behavioral needs of students with Developmental Cognitive Disabilities
Teach in a Federal Setting III Classroom and within the general education setting
Evaluate and assess student academic, functional, and behavioral progress
Act as IEP Manager to assigned students and complete all due process requirements
Direct the work of Educational Assistants
Collaborate with other service providers and educators
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians
