The Opportunity
As a Social Media Customer Service Representative, you'll play a pivotal role in managing customer interactions across various social media platforms for a range of brands. We're looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
Engage Customers: Respond promptly to customer inquiries, comments, and messages on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
Resolve Issues: Address customer concerns professionally and promptly, offering appropriate solutions or escalating issues when necessary.
Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of each brand's offerings to assist customers effectively.
Brand Advocacy: Represent each brand positively in all interactions, maintaining its voice and values.
Problem-solving: Utilize critical thinking to resolve customer issues and ensure satisfaction.
Escalation Management: Identify and escalate complex issues to the appropriate internal teams for resolution.
Feedback Collection: Gather insights from social media interactions to inform product enhancements and marketing strategies.
Social Listening: Monitor social media channels for trends and mentions related to our brands.
Data Management: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in our CRM system.
Performance Reporting: Track and report key metrics related to social media customer service.
Qualifications
Empathy and Patience: Ability to remain calm and empathetic in challenging situations.
Problem-solving Skills: Quick thinking and adept at finding solutions.
Social Media Savvy: Familiarity with platforms and management tools like Hootsuite.
Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities.
Team Player: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with customer service tools and platforms like Freshdesk and Shopify.
Customer Service Experience: Prior experience in social media or digital customer service.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication.
